Fluid evolution and metallogenesis of the Zhangjiapingzi gold deposit in mianning, Sichuan province: constraints from fluid inclusion studies

Introduction: The Zhangjiapingzi gold deposit, located at the western margin of Yangtze Craton and controlled by Jinhe-Chenghai deep fault, is a newly discovered super-large deposit in Danba-Mianning metallogenic belt. ore bodies are hosted Middle Triassic (T 2 ) altered dolomite (Dm), have two types mineralization: rock type quartz vein type. Previous studies on this rare, especially ore-fluid characteristics, which limit understanding genesis. Methods: This study focused fluid inclusions from rocks, used microthermometry laser Raman spectroscopy to investigate properties sources ore-forming fluids, determine genetic Results discussion: results show that mainly CO -H O-NaCl inclusions, with medium temperature (220–300°C), low salinity (<10%), medium-low density (0.79–1.01 g/cm 3 high contents CH 4 , resembling typical orogenic fluids. We suggest best classified as type, our findings provide new insights into origin metallogenesis deposits
